Pureheart Creamy Cashew Kheer

  • ½ cup basmati rice
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 2 tsp Pureheart Creamy Cashew Nutspread
  • A handful of Pureheart Natural Almonds – sliced
  • ¼ tsp Cardamom powder
  • A few strands saffron


  1. Soak rice in water for 20 min. Drain off the water
  2. Add rice to milk in a heavy-bottomed pan. Let it come to a boil on medium heat. Reduce heat and let the rice cook
  3. Keep stirring in between so that the rice does not stick to the bottom of the pan
  4. Once the milk has thickened and rice is nearly cooked, add 2 heated tsp of Pureheart Creamy Cashew Nutspread
  5. Mix well and cook for a few minutes more
  6. Remove from heat. Add cardamom powder and mix well
  7. Garnish with saffron strands and Pureheart Natural Almonds
