INGREDIENTS- ½ cup basmati rice
- 2 cups of milk
- 2 tsp Pureheart Creamy Cashew Nutspread
- A handful of Pureheart Natural Almonds – sliced
- ¼ tsp Cardamom powder
- A few strands saffron
PREPARATION
- Soak rice in water for 20 min. Drain off the water
- Add rice to milk in a heavy-bottomed pan. Let it come to a boil on medium heat. Reduce heat and let the rice cook
- Keep stirring in between so that the rice does not stick to the bottom of the pan
- Once the milk has thickened and rice is nearly cooked, add 2 heated tsp of Pureheart Creamy Cashew Nutspread
- Mix well and cook for a few minutes more
- Remove from heat. Add cardamom powder and mix well
- Garnish with saffron strands and Pureheart Natural Almonds
