NUTTY PANEER PARATHA by Bhavika A. Bhuta

Recipe #2 from Bhavika on National Nutrition Week Day 2! An Indian staple - the paratha with a nutty twist!

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup crumbled paneer
  • 1/4 cup boiled & mashed potatoes
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp chopped green chillies
  • 1/4 cup Pureheart Nutreat Salted Almonds, Salted Cashews & Salted Pistachios chopped
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp Kasuri Methi
  • 2 tbsp chopped onions
  • 2 tbsp grated cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Whole wheat flour for 4 parathas

Method:
  • Mix everything and make the filling for paratha
  • Roll the dough into a small circle, place the filling into a circle and close the dough from all sides
  • Roll this nutty dough into a paratha, don't press much to avoid the stuffing oozing out
  • Heat a tava and allow it to cook on medium flame till they become crispy from both sides.
  • Serve hot with dahi or raita
